The building complex named Fort Bitraky is the result of the restructuring of the property originally fate agriculture and with other neighboring property was a furriadroxiu (cluster housing of a family group to agricultural activity), more precisely that of Basciu which dates back to the third quarter of nineteenth century.
Is site in S.Antioco (Ca), location Canal which is reported in the sub-register as Basciu, last name, in fact, the first distant owner.
Is divided into three units denominated A (Old), B (Chapel) and C (New), between their contiguous and gravitating on a main orchard and on another (on cungiareddu) separated from it and that is on the opposite side with respect to the dirt road communication. The complex is located in the triangle south of the island, less than 1000 m in line d `area by the sea on three sides (Capo Sperone, Portu Sciusciau, Turri and Coa is Cuaddus). It is 8 km from the town of S.Antioco which is connected by road, except the final piece of penetration macadam well kept.
The complex has water from deep well (85 m), light from the network. It is inserted in a wide green area, rich in the past, especially the nuragico, a small country in the context of permanent settlement and not far from a pine forest adult, relevance, six hectares of land, which extends to to a high point from which you can appreciate almost the entire coast of the island.
The furriadroxiu is only part of town and is hosting a chicken coop off the other well-stocked, staffed with over classical hens, guinea fowl, ducks, geese, turkeys, free range in a large courtyard, where they can feed pecking, in addition to grains, also herbs.
The three units are enhanced by an orchard of over 2000 m2 which, in addition to the classic fruit trees, some more exotic, such as the banana, the feijoa, papaya and a cactus fruit, cactus without thorns.
Among the plants are grown along the arc of the year seasonal vegetables that `good earth produces supreme quality, thanks to an efficient system of drip irrigation and the hard work and experience of the caretaker.
Old
The old house called is an independent unit with two floors, the second consisting of a large loft with central wooden staircase Wooden access. The loft, with an area of 23 m2, is sleeping area with a nice double bed bedside enriched by a historical and a head in tiles of the past and a reproduction of a Jupiter-Roman Etruscan ancestry post. The living room as well as a table like `Frattino`, but more consistent with the traditional Sardinian bread table with straw chairs from the old design.
The house can accommodate a family with preferably no more than one child or two (it all depends on habits) accommodated in the living room. This, with its 30 m2, is the `main room which we accessed directly from the veranda of the entrance and from which you open with a kitchenette and a bathroom equipped each of 3 m2.
The veranda of the entrance, of 27 m2, is covered by a wattle and is surrounded, on three sides facing the wall facade, north high and lush rosemary, to the south by dense vine from which rises a magnificent cactus that produces delicious exotic fruits and, finally, to the east by an adult olive tree surrounded by saw palmetto and prickly india `nano.
In the house are preserved many objects from around the world that make it attractive and at the same time requiring caution and care.
The total floor area is therefore approximately 60 m2, arranged, however, somewhat ergonomic, so as to suggest to maximize the space in a boat.

Chapel
The name was given by neighbors who thought just a chapel during renovation work, because of the arcs of two of the three windows, the door and the main window closed shutter. The third infissso is a closed glass panels ranging from half-height of the ground floor at mid-height of the loft.
In fact we have a loft of 10 m, used as a sleeping area, accessible with adequate wooden staircase. The ground floor, 17 m2, is quite striking because of the coexistence of the terracotta floor, the local volcanic stone ceilings, meticulously drawn, the wall boundary up to about 1 m in height and the white of the walls above finished with a trowel swiping.
It is home to paintings and objects typical memories of permanence to the work of the owner in various parts of the world and this makes the `environment even more charming.
Suitable for a family with small child or large, according to the customs. No kitchen and bathroom of 3.5 m2, fully equipped, is external, only 3 m away, in the green of the orchard-garden.
The chapels can be combined with one or both of the other two homes, because of the lack of it in the kitchen and bathroom deviated, even if only slightly, from `property.
This house has the orchard to which overlooks and which is surrounded on three sides.

The new one is named to be the `last renovated units. Turns out to be the largest of the three units. Anch `it is divided, like the other two, on a ground floor and a loft. It has a floor area of 61 m2 on the ground floor and 22 m2, in the loft, and 83 m2 of surface. It can accommodate two couples. Is ata kitchen and a spacious and well-equipped bathroom. It overlooks the garden-orchard-garden, enjoying the view of banana on top.

Il soppalco, con una superficie di 23 m2, costituisce ambiente notte con un simpatico letto matrimoniale arricchito da comodini d`epoca ed una testata in piastrelle del passato ed una riproduzione di un Giove di etrusca ascendenza post-romana. Il soggiorno dispone oltre che di un tavolo tipo `frattino`, ma più coerente con il tavolo da pane della tradizione sarda con seggiole impagliate dal disegno antico.
La casa può alloggiare una famigliola con preferibilmente non più di un figlio o anche due (tutto dipende dalle abitudini) accomodati nel soggiorno. Questo, con i suoi 30 m2, è l`ambiente principale cui ci accede direttamente dalla veranda d`ingresso e da cui si aprono un angolo cottura ed un bagno attrezzato, ciascuno di 3 m2 circa.
La veranda d`ingresso,, di 27 m2, è coperta da un incannucciato ed è contornata, nei tre lati di fronte al muro di facciata, a nord da alto e rigoglioso rosmarino, a sud da fitto rampicante dal quale svetta una stupenda cactacea che produce dei frutti esotici squisiti ed, infine, ad oriente da un ulivo adulto contornato da palma nana e fico d`india nano.

Cappella
Il nome le è stato dato dai vicini che hanno pensato appunto ad una cappella durante i lavori di ristrutturazione, a motivo degli archi dei due dei tre infissi, la porta di ingresso ed il finestrone principale chiusi a persiana. Il terzo infissso è una vetrata chiusa a riquadri che spazia da mezza altezza del piano terra a mezza altezza del soppalco.
Si ha infatti un soppalco, di 10 m, adibito a zona notte, accessibile con adeguata scala in legno. Il piano terra, di 17 m2, è alquanto suggestivo a motivo della coesistenza del cotto del pavimento, la pietra vulcanica locale a vista, meticolosamente stilata, del muro al contorno sino ad 1 m circa di altezza ed il bianco delle pareti sovrastanti rifinite a cazzuola strisciata.
La casa ospita quadri ed oggetti tipici, ricordi delle permanenza per lavoro del proprietario in varie parti del mondo ed questo rende l`ambiente ancor più suggestivo.
